Within the many challenges of the pandemic in 2020-21, we discovered a surprising gift: The ready availability of guest theatre artists from around the world.

Through these regular Friday Zoom sessions, we were able to keep in touch with colleagues; share ideas, resources, and support; and feel less isolated in our lives and our craft.

These are some of the international guests we were delighted to welcome to our weekly program:

Conversations: radio interviews

where we explore questions about how to create the artistic career that you want for yourself.

  • Episode One: What Is A satisfying career?

  • Episode Two: Anne Bogart and the End of Post-Modernism

“Anne Bogart is the most important acting and directing theorist since Stanislavski and Brecht.” Jon Jory, Artistic Director, Actors Theater of Louisville

  • Episode Three: Morgan Jenness - Activism in Art

Morgan Jenness has worked as an educator, activist, worked in the literary office and as Associate Producer at the Public Theater, and also was an Associate Artistic Director at NYTW and LATC. Morgan has served in dramaturgical capacities at theaters and developmental situations all over the American theater for over three decades

  • Episode Four: Artists Working Internationally

  • Episode Five: Your Career, Your Way
